The young Scottish Drag Queen taking the world by storm! Presenting: Scarlet Skylar Rae! Fun, energetic with passionate songs, Scarlet Skylar Rae was created to be the voice that says be who you want to be and have pride in who you are, have faith in yourself and that everything will be ok and no matter how bad things get, never let anyone take the smile from your face.
Local celebrity Scarlet Skylar Rae has seen success over the past twelve months including her recent mainstage international performance at West Australian Pride (after setting up the Perth to Perth Pride Partnership), representing Scotland at Global Pride 2020 (being introduced by Nicola Sturgeon), many other digital Pride Festivals, organising and launching Perth’s first-ever LGBTQ club night ‘Perth Wind and Fire’ in May, being crowned the ‘Drag Queen Dean of Robert Gordon University’ in Aberdeen as part of Grampian Pride and headlining Hebridean Pride in Stornoway. Scarlet is also currently a board member of Perthshire Pride Scotland and performed, hosted and introduced the film star and theatre actor, Sir Ian McKellen to the event this year.
‘Pride’ – Scarlet Skylar Rae was the first song by a drag queen to be broadcast on the radio in The Gambia.
‘Good Time’ – Scarlet Skylar Rae and Miss Transgender UK Aria Welsh was the first song with a transgender woman to be broadcast on the radio in The Gambia.
